The Organisation: I am currently recruiting for an organisation specialising in support for those who have various complex support needs such as substance misuse, mental health or homelessness their work is certainly well recognised as they continue to expand all over the UK. Having recently expanded upon services within Doncaster and Scunthorpe they are currently looking for Service Lead in their Supported Housing services to help contribute to the high-quality service they provide to those in need. The Opportunities: Our client is seeking employees on a temp-to-perm basis, meaning successful candidates will have the chance to obtain a permanent role and truly invest in their professional development within a growing service. Required working Monday Friday 9 AM 5PM. Excellent pay rate: candidate s will be paid £18.16 PAYE OR £22.65 Umbrella. Subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Based in Either Doncaster or Scunthorpe service Once a month travel to Bridlington will be required. Full UK Driver s License and access to a vehicle is needed for this role. The Duties & Responsibilities: As a Service Manager, you will need to lead and manage a team of Housing Management Workers to deliver high quality, effective supported housing and management services to a range of service user groups (including young people, homeless people and prison leavers) that meet their needs and meet contractual requirements and financial targets. As a Service Manager, you will be expected to ensure that you are carrying out supervisions, team meetings and leading the team to achieve their objectives. You will be required to complete reports, liaise with Commissioners, skilled in multi-agency working, innovative and forward thinking and the ability to advance the service. As a Service Manager, you will be aware of housing management policies and procedures and have to ability to ensure that staff are adhering to health and safety regulations, reporting repairs, dealing with all areas of anti-social behaviour, managing void properties. letting properties, completing, and assessing risk assessments, auditing all files. You will be ensuring that service users are safe in their properties and that we are upholding decent homes standards. Furthermore, ability to use and interpret a wide range of data and use ICT effectively to enhance your workThe Candidate: Experience of managing housing professionals within a supported housing setting. Relevant experience within social care, social housing or another similar background. Passion and empathy for supporting others and enabling their growth and personal progression. You will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
