Provides emergent and non-emergent medical care to occupational health patients on a predetermined job site. Performs evaluation and treatment of work site injuries under the direction of the Regional Medical Director. Is knowledgeable of and participates in safety/ injury prevention measures.

Responding to, assessing, and treating emergency and non-emergency injuries according to the standing order protocols approved by the supervising physician.
Administering basic and advanced life support to patients at the scene in a pre-hospital setting in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, and in accordance with Select Medical/ Worknet policies rules, and guidelines.
Effectively communicating with professional medical personnel and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further treatment and/ or to arrange reception of patients to the appropriate center.
Completing and retaining patient care forms, insurance forms, evaluation forms, first report of injury form, and all other necessary forms/ computer related tasks as assigned, in a competent and timely fashion.
Perform drug and alcohol testing when appropriate according to Select Medical/ Worknet policies and procedures
Maintaining current client relationships and performing future business development responsibilities as directed.
Ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
High school diploma or a GED
Valid Driver s License
Current State Paramedic Certification
American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer and/or American Heart Association BCLS Certification
Hazardous Materials Recognition & Identification and ability to obtain MSDS information for applicable substances, as well as other certifications as required.
The Onsite Paramedic must also maintain the required annual continuing medical education credits as set forth by the State EMS office.
