This key role within our organisation will support the Managing Director, and with the smooth running of the organisation, and enable the management team to lead efficiently; including to organise and facilitate the HR function.

You are/have:

  • An experienced, confident PA/EA
  • Able to talk to people at all levels - a good communicator
  • Excellent IT skills particularly O365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • Used to managing diaries on a delegate basis
  • Particular attention to detail
  • Organised & efficient in their approach, plan and execution
  • Able to take the initiative and problem solve
  • Self-managing - able to work alone
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Able to adapt/pivot easily
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Able to pick up new things quickly
  • Able to take work away from the Managing Director

Location: Mostly remote working from home, although attendance at the MD's home in Farnham and also our Farnborough office will be required as requested

Rate: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience (i.e. if £25k and 2 days per week the salary will be £10,000)

Hours: 2 to 3 days a week, flexibility required. This role can work around school hours.

Job Requirements:

Supporting the Managing Director:

  • Manage the MD's diary (business and some personal) and book meetings with internal team and external contacts as required.
  • Creating content for internal use - whether in sales or product development
  • Making sure colleagues deliver what they need to the MD on time
  • Book external meeting space for meetings such as monthly Sales Days for Regional Partners and work together days.
  • Organise Christmas party and other adhoc events.
  • Manage the "officefunctions" such as shredding collection, purchasing equipment, corporate gifting, etc.
  • Create formal documents from mind maps and jottings of the Managing Director.
  • Support the development of standard operating procedures and company brand application.
  • Additional ad hoc administration, both business and some personal, as required.

HR Administration (working alongside the Operations Director):

  • Working with the Ops Director and building a relationship with an external HR consultant in order to prepare, organise and deliver the business's fully compliant HR function, e.g.
    • organising staff appraisals including preparing 360 feedback
    • preparing offer letters, contracts and other employee letters
    • implementing contract revisions
    • standardising job specifications and competency matrices
    • documenting standard operating procedures
