Background & Purpose of the Job
eCommerce is the fastest growing segment of the retail industry, and Unilever has made it a top priority to accelerate in this channel as a key growth driver. These goals drive the need for passionate eCommerce individuals to propel us to growth. The Omnichannel Associate Manage r is responsible for embedding eCommerce business operations and strategies into the way we manage multiple customer relationships , and rapidly growing our omnichannel turnover and share. This role will accelerate Unilevers eCommerce sales by developing, enabling, and operating omnichannel businesses at scale.
Who You Are & What Youll Do
The Omnichannel Associate Manager will collaborate with the Omnichannel Team Lead to develop an informed point of view on what is needed to drive sustainable eCommerce growth online and eCommerce influenced growth offline (in stores). Moreover, the O mnichannel Associate M anager will optimize business operations and performance across all digital platforms and fulfillment methods by utiliz ing numerous tools to unpack data and key performance indicators to then act on th at data to drive results. A typical week may include the creation and evaluation of data analytics, end-to-end digital content optimization , profitability modeling, supply chain optimization, digital marketing strategy, and traditional digital merchandising activities. In partnership with the Customer Development (CD) team, the Omnichannel Associate Manager will collaborate with Customer Business Managers (CBM s) to identify areas of opportunity and growth to integrate into the Target CD t eams strategy and execution. Knowledge of eCommerce and online fulfillment is essential to lead the conversation with retailers and fully integrate o mnichannel considerations into the plan.
The Omnichannel Associate Manager will be a key talent for digital leadership positions in the future. He or she needs to be a disruptive thinker who can see opportunities and inspire the team to deliver, but also be an operator who can navigate the organization efficiently and work through any roadblocks that may arise.

What Youll Need to Succeed
- Bachelors degree
- A minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in CPG within sales/customer development or business/account management roles; Drug and/or Value experience is preferred
- Strong data, analytical, problem-solving , and presentation skills; experience with Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Advanced-level retail financial acumen preferred; including sales forecasting, profitability, and working knowledge of trade and media investment
- Working knowledge of eCommerce retail basics, traffic and conversion drivers, search, the consumers path to purchase journey, and omnichannel customer models and fulfillment methods
- Prior experience in eCommerce merchandising and/ or retail buying/merchandising
