Office Angels are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator, to join our client who is based in Durham City Centre, on a permanent contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of lovely people, who are friendly, welcoming and will support you in your development. This is a permanent role, starting ASAP, however a 4 week notice period will be considered for the right candidate. Free on-site parking Location: Durham City Centre Salary: Circa. £20,000 Full-time 5 hours per week, 8:30 - 5 Monday - Thursday and an early 4:30PM finish on a Friday! 4% pension contribution Private Health Care Scheme after probationary period A generous annual leave allowance of 27 days, plus bank holidays on top! What's not to love? The role: You will provide an efficient and accurate administrative support to the small, yet busy office, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the business. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate! Answering phones and taking messages Making travel arrangements Preparation of word documents Assist in updating of website in all regards, personnel, completed and new projects, business development news etc. Development and update of social media platforms e.g., Twitter, website, LinkedIn etc. Assist the admin team to administer the Quality / Environmental Systems Document control.Person specification Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritising work and multi-tasking! Proficient in Microsoft packages with particular knowledge of Word and Excel is essential Able to demonstrate an eye for detail Proactive, diligent and self-motivated Previous office experience essential Able to work with limited supervision Good verbal communication skills Able to manage a diverse and complex workload High level of literacy and numeracy Team player, able to initiate, develop and maintain productive working relationships Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate a positive impression Work in accordance with quality management systemsSome travel may be required from time to time between Durham and North Tyneside office, to cover holidays etc. Plenty of notice will be provided and travel expenses will be reimbursed for this.
