Mechanical Engineer with CFD

Key Responsibilities:

• Design flow path, fuel injection, combustor, and cooling architecture to meet program requirements.
• CFD analysis of combustor/diffuser aerodynamics.
• Thermal analysis of combustor/diffuser hardware.
• Development & validation test execution.
• Prepare and present summary of technical analysis.
• Interfacing with other disciplines including design, structures, operability, durability.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience on CFD Tools like CFX, Ansys
• Fluent on Gas Turbine and components
• Under some direction, designs, analyzes, and validates combustor aerodynamics and thermals to meet program requirements.
• Contributes to the development of new/improved processes, procedures, and engineering standard work.
• Ability to communicate results clearly and succinctly, as well as seamlessly interface across multiple disciplines.
