We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who can support existing manufacturing processes and help implement new process/product launches. The ideal candidate for this role is a degreed Engineer with several years supporting a high-volume manufacturing facility. You will need to be comfortable taking a lead role in setting up and debugging new manufacturing processes on the production floor, from start to finish. They produce a wide variety of custom variations of their products to meet each customer's individual application. So, they have developed their machines to be adaptable to support several different products (multiple setups, ability to change out tooling for different products, etc.). You will also be expected to prioritize, maintain, and improve existing production processes by using proven continuous improvement (kaizen) and problem-solving techniques to identify, track, and help implement continuous improvement projects (i.e. labor savings, improve safety, improve ergonomics, improve capability, automation, poke yoke, etc.).
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
5-7 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience with previous experience troubleshooting and supporting custom production equipment.
Strong computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of document control, GD&T, and 3D design (AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidworks)
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S
Proven track record of executing root cause analysis on processes and equipment that led to long-term corrective actions.
Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification preferred
