Position Overview:

The Manager, Corporate Learning role will lead the development, maintenance and delivery of enterprise-wide learning content and solutions. You will collaborate closely with internal subject matter experts to determine needs, design curriculum, curate or develop content, ensure quality of delivery and work with company leadership to validate program alignment with business needs. You will also leverage learning evaluation and analytics to refine and improve program design and delivery.

Your Impact:

As a learning expert, you will:

Partner with the business to analyze and scope training requests (ILT, on-demand, learning journeys, videos, etc.).

Scope and prioritize enterprise learning needs based on knowledge of the business and external trends and best practices.

Partner with Learning Project Managers, Training Operations, and Workforce Technology team, and external vendors to implement learning initiatives.

Drive learning measurement and evaluation practices across learning programs.

Conduct needs analysis to determine appropriate solution to address performance issues.

Design learning solutions that align to identified goals and objectives.

As a manager, you will:

Plan staffing needs.

Assess candidate qualifications as new team members are added.

Keep employees advised about changes, updates, and requests.

Delegate work efficiently and appropriately to team members.

Supervise and enable work progress.

Explain job duties to ensure team members have clear expectations.

Provide an environment of psychological safety.

Recognize and reward your team.

Provide performance mentorship and feedback.

Promote development opportunities to grow team members.

Encourage innovation to ensure delivery of results that make valuable contributions.

Establish vision and strategy for the learning design strategy function.


10+ years of work experience in instructional design

Minimum 2 years in a management role

Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred

Knowledge of adult learning principles

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Experience with NovoEd a plus
