POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Director is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that computing systems and equipment are operating effectively, efficiently, and securely. To be successful in this position you will demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the industry's best practices and evidence a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of cyber security, computer hardware and software. Primarily working with our Acumatica ERP system, which is a cloud based mid-market ERP platform that includes all accounting, inventory management and CRM systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Managing IT staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
  • Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost effectiveness.
  • Monitoring daily operations, including security, server hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.
  • Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Evaluating technology risks to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
  • Design and implement workflows
  • Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
  • Building reports and Generic inquiries in Acumatica.
  • Administer the Acumatica ERP system, troubleshoot issues as presented to users.
  • Implement new integrations to 3rd party services as needed.
  • Maintain the IT network in the office. (Workstations, ERP and Telephony Systems)
  • Attend meetings to monitor and report on systems needs and issues.
  • Establishing ERP needs via business process analysis and consultation.
  • Analyzing existing infrastructure and performing IT system enhancements.
  • Installing ERP software and ensuring seamless integration with IT systems.
  • Providing technical support and training ERP end-users.
  • Preparing development progress updates and documenting ERP processes.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest ERP upgrades and offerings

Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Acumatica or similar ERP system.
  • Working knowledge of Magento eCommerce
  • Experience with Power BI and SQL queries
  • Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
  • A background in business administration, project management (agile and waterfall), or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Effective management of local and offshore teams
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
