Title: Hydraulic Field Service Engineer Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire Salary: Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits Package Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hydraulic Field Service Engineer to work for our client who are based in St Neots, the role will be reporting to the Service Manager and will be taking accountability and responsibility for providing servicing and maintenance activities to their customers at their sites. This is an interesting role where you will travel to customer sites and be involved in all aspects of service and maintain as well as repair, install, commission, and troubleshoot our range of standard products and bespoke product solutions in the field. Duties & Responsibilities: As the Hydraulic Field Service Engineer for our client, you are guaranteed that no two days will ever be the same. The role will be required to attend our clients customers sites to service and maintain as well as repair, install, commission and troubleshoot our range of standard products and bespoke product solutions in the field. The work will be across the region and the UK, however, will have occasional overseas travel necessitating overnight stays will be required. Performing well in this job means going the extra mile and supporting the identification and development of service opportunities when on customer sites. The role would suit someone who is highly skilled, personable, resilient and reliable, and able to work autonomously, but you will very much be part of a team, expected to collaborate and pragmatically solve problems. In such times as you are not fully occupied in the field or carrying out associated administration, you will directly support our sales and product management teams as well as providing hands on support to our clients Head Office in St Neots. Qualifications & Education: HNC or equivalent relevant technical qualification in a Mechanical discipline. Appreciation of Mechanical Engineering and Electric/Electronic Control systems. Computer Literate. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems. Good communication with strong colleague customer interfacing skills.
