Fundraising Assistants We are currently recruiting for a few Fund Raising Assistants to join a global charity and work alongside a superb team in this temporary role - asap until Christmas. We are looking for someone to start immediately, the role is located in the vibrant area of Farringdon, paying £12.50 an hour. WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING FOR? Our client is a leading international charity dedicated to providing protection, opportunities and emergency aid to the most vulnerable children across the globe. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? To support the Supporter Care and Fundraising teams to deliver outstanding service to our supporters around Christmas Jumper Day. Managing CJD email inbox: respond to any income enquiries in inbox within 48 hours, monitor complaints and respond to them within 24 hours Managing calls from CJD supporters, ensuring fundraising compliance and delivering excellent supporter care Liaising with event suppliers (JustGiving, etc) as necessary Forwarding media/press enquiries from inbox to relevant media team contacts for follow up within 24 hours Organising on the day social media hub and volunteers, support with social media monitoring and responses Briefing internal Supporter Care team on campaign developments Responsible for post-event enquiries. Including finding income on supporter database (CARE), updating supporters on fundraising amounts and filling in financial amendment log Providing administrative support to other teams as required ABOUT YOU Communicating with impact. Communicates clearly and confidently with others to engage and influence; promotes dialogue and ensures timely and appropriate messages, building confidence and trust. Problem solving and decision making. Takes effective, considered and timely decisions by gathering and evaluating relevant information from within or outside the organisation. Working effectively with others. Technical Skills: Experience of drafting written communication designed to inform, motivate and inspire others. Relevant experience in a customer service role within an office environment. Due to the nature of the organisation and their mission of helping children and vulnerable adults, you will need to complete a DBS check before starting.
